Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah (رضي الله عنه) asked: “
“O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?”
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Yes.” I asked, “Which charity is best?”
The Prophet ﷺ said, “A drink of water.”

Our Impact
Brighter Futures Foundation has worked with local leadership across several countries to identify areas in need of clean drinking water.
We’ve used this information and our partnerships with local organizations to build over eleven wells.
Just one of our Well Projects - a water distribution facility - serves about 300 people a day. With the support of our donors, we hope to further develop our network of wells, providing water for communities in need.
